How Old, How Far i How Often

la paraula "How", per si mateixa, significa "Com", però a l'estar combinada amb old, far o often, podria traduir-se com "en quina mesura". Les traduccions de cadascuna d'aquestes expressions són:

• How old: quina edat / què antiguitat.
• How far: què tan lluny.
• How often: amb quina freqüència.

L'estructura mínima de la pregunta amb how old, how far i how often amb verb to be (ser o estar) és:

how (Old / far / often) + verb to be conjugat + subjecte + ?

La pregunta amb altres verbs es construeix així:
